Giving back quality of life, because bank accounts cannot heal.
Midwest Micro Equal is our way to give back to the community, especially those who experience it differently.
Our passion and our hobby is material science, making, crafting, and figuring out what makes things tick. These align perfectly with mobility devices, ADA assistance devices, creative solutions to everyday struggles, organization in support of mental health, and repair of assistive devices. In the difficult times we find ourselves in, we would like to donate our ever increasing technical knowledge to support those in need.
At the current time, we are a tiny outfit with surprising capabilities. For our services to meet the ends of making others lives better, we do not ask for payment. Only donate what you can to help us get better, keep our lights on, and do more.
What We Want To Do
We will take your project on and do our best to provide a solution on a donation basis. We will provide you a wholesale cost of the services, if you are able to pay to keep our services in the black please do so. If not, please consider donating in the future. All funds go directly into staying afloat and improving our equipment and services.

If you have an external assistive device that is broken, or has parts that frequently need replacement, we can redesign/improve/repair them.
We also offer organizational options to assist with mental health concerns, medication storage, daily routine support, sensory issues, and more.
*We do not take sterile, internal medicine, oral, or anything involving bodily fluids, requests at this time*

The Stuff We Have to Say

1.
We operate on a donation basis for services to the community under Midwest Micro Equal (our for profit side Midwest Micro, is currently being reinvested in equipment improvements for both ventures). We assume no liability and maintain a Good Samaritan stance.
2.
We will do our best to fully solve your problem, or make your repair in a timely manner but as with most of you, this isn't the day job that keeps our lights on. Please be patient, and keep this in mind when choosing to reach out to us. Which brings us to number 3:
3.
We DO NOT accept requests for:
- life support equipment
- TIME CRITICAL
- fluid delivery systems
- critical assistive devices that could result in death due to failure
- internal assistive devices/implants
- anything involving bodily fluids
4.
Our goal is to be an alternative to the expensive repair/replacement options most are forced to deal with. Please give what you are able to help us give more back.
We reserve the right to kindly decline any and all requests for any reason including, but not limited to:
- time constraints
- scheduling
- exceeds current technical capability
- outside scope of what we cover
- research into solution hits legal/regulatory constraints to complete solution in a legal manner
- we are a very small operation and we also have a day job to keep our lights on, sometimes things don't work out.
